  1. I got a 2007 5.3L with maybe 80k miles. The belts are cracking but they're not bad, really. I'm going to replace them, but I was told I should replace the tensioners too. That sounds crazy to me. Is that normal?
  2. Nice thank you. You think I need the OEM connectors for the heater hose, or can I get away with basic hose clamps?
  3. Thermostat to heater. Thats the one. Thank you. I tried looking up a parts diagram on gmpartsdirect but couldn't find it in the diagram. is there anything better out there than that site?
  4. I have a heater core hose on my 2007 classic being held on by clamps (as opposed to the quick connect fitting next to it). It’s leaking and I’m assuming it’s the hose. I went to my local auto parts store and they couldn’t locate the hose. I can’t find it on gmpartsdirect either. Anyone know where I can find it?
  5. Checked the fuse box. Not sure how to approach this. Anyone else done it?
  6. I've got no money and alarms dont work anyway, so I'd like to run a secret toggle switch that shuts the fuel pump on/off. I've seen a few guys wire back from the fuel pump relay through the firewall but that seems like way too much of a task. I'd rather work in the dash if possible. Anyone know how to do this?

  8. I've checked parts fiches like GMpartsdirect and haven't found anything. They're not your traditional O-ring so I cant find the at the auto parts store. Does anyone know where I can replace those rubber grommets that go around the lightbulb socket in the parking lights? The fogging is driving me nuts and I've already sealed the light itself. Thanks.
