  1. Tried it, but didn't work. Seems like any time that solenoid is triggered the truck just has to announce that valuables may be going into, or coming out of the bed. You would think that a truck from Detroit would know better...
  2. Howdy, did a search, couldn't find anything on the subject so asking here. 2023 GMC 2500HD - Nice truck but... Does anyone how to keep the lights from flashing every time the tailgate is opened? It's a crap "feature". Visualize a dark early morning near your favorite hunting spot, quietly getting out of the truck, going to open the tailgate and BAM you're treated to a blinding light show. Ridiculous. Don't know why it needs to be the business of the whole neighborhood to know the tailgate was opened.
  3. OK, so the clunking noise has disappeared with use. Currently around 950 miles on unit. Seemed to improve and go away at around 600 miles. Definitely not something you want to hear out of a brand new truck. YMMV Now... if I could figure out how to keep the stupid lights from flashing every time the tailgate is opened. Don't think the whole neighborhood should alerted to the fact that something was put into or taken out of the bed.
  4. Just bought a 2023 2500HD AT4, 157 miles on it and it's doing the same thing. You can rock it gently by the bed and it feels like something is loose with the axle. Haven't taken it to the dealer yet. The 2015 GMC I traded in was still solid as a rock after 8 years.
