    I'm getting the P0449 which points to the EVAP Solenoid. The part checks fine and the dealer says it's in the wiring. They want $600 to troubleshoot the wiring. I'm thinking I may try to replace the fuel pump control module for $52. Very frustrating for a fairly new truck. Unfortunately beyond the 36k warranty.

    I have a 2020 Trail Boss 5.3L with 45k miles. I recently got the P0449 error code. The code goes to the Vent Solenoid. Dealer says the part is fine but wants $600 to check the wiring. That is a hefty price for a wild goose chase. Anyone else come across this issue? My local guy says it's a bad ground but wants to know if I can get a wire diagram for this circuit so he doesn't have to open the wire harness unnecessarily. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Andre
