  1. Looks good. I ended up turning my keys back down 1.5 turns, so I ended at 3.5. This gave me a little bit of rake and minimal rubbing. It hits the felt liner at full lock but clears the mud flaps with ease. It’s currently at the shop for an alignment, I’m interested to see how far off it was.
  2. Turns out Finn and I have identical trucks, with the exception of a 2500 vs. a 3500. Anyway, here’s the Weld wheels with Toyo 35x11.50. Not sure why my picture is upside down, but thought I’d share what they look like. I gave the stock keys 5 turns, I might turn them down one and then get my alignment.
  3. The dealer asked to keep the truck for the morning to see if the codes had cleared, which I was surprised there were any codes at all as there was nothing identified on the dashboard. They also said they had a fuel pump power module on order, as this has resolved similar issues in the past. He also said if that didn’t cure it they wouldn’t know where to start. At the end of the day I’m glad that I threw $300 away for a tow and a day’s worth of car rental rather than owning a truck I’d never trust. Lesson learned, the truck is fine and my blood pressure is starting to come down.
  4. I am an idiot…. I was researching this topic last night and found numerous posts about trucks not starting. Then I ran across somebody’s comment mentioning their floor mat was on the gas pedal and my heart dropped. I had just installed new floor liners but knew there was no way my OCD wouldn’t have seen that. I ran to the dealership this morning and sure enough, I am an idiot.
  5. Will do. The fact that my dealership got me a rental car today doesn’t make me feel much better. Also, my truck was parked alongside 3 others which really didn’t help.
  6. I hate this as my first post, but my truck did the same thing yesterday, and I just bought it last Friday. I’ve owned many new vehicles in my life, with this being my first GM product. 2023 Silverado 2500 LT gasser, 261 miles. I really enjoyed the truck for the first miles, but I am livid. Had it towed to the dealer yesterday, no replies from them yet. I will be calling in the morning. I traded in a 2022 Tundra which I wasn’t impressed with.
