  1. I used to buy Weathertech. But GM really upped their game on their floor liners. They are a softer rubber that won’t scratch or rough up the plastics near the sill plates. I’m all in on the GM liners. But I do agree that they do cut it close near the sill plate.
  2. I recently had my 2019 Silverado RST inspected and the dealer told me that my rear brakes were close to needing new pads and rotors. I ordered the parts and just prior to receiving the parts the DIC displayed a message "Service Brake pad Monitor". So we replaced the pads and rotors. While doing so, we noticed that the inner pads were nearly worn out while the outer pads had plenty of "meat" on them. We also noticed the pad sensor wire was worn out, so I ordered one of those as well. Brakes work great, but I am unable to reset the Rear break pad life and the Service Brake pad monitor message comes up every time I start the truck. and when I scroll down to the Brake Pad system it shows a "Service System" error. Since my truck is 4 years old, I have no intentions of paying to have this ridiculous over monitored system fixed or reset. I see by other Posts that others are having similar problems. I have to wonder why my dealer didn't notice the uneven pad wear in the prior two inspections. All necessary parts have been replaced and I'm in for about $300 already. Too many sensors on these vehicles. Just another item to break to squeeze more service bucks out of the customer. Perturbed to say the least.
