How can you tell what type of radio I have?

GMC Sierre elevation 2021 2.7l engine So I just bought a nav sd card from gmnavdisc. I inserted the card before starting my truck. Start my truck and nothing shows up on the screen except a notification to click to remove sd card safely. So I try to click on the nav button at the bottom of the screen and I get the msg that app uses the Onstar sys. So I try GMC map+ and I get the msg that I need to be connected. I don't have an Onstar plan, GMC support told me I could use the sd card without Onstar. So anyone knows what I have to do to make it work? I live in Canada. thank you
