I have a 2018 Silverado Z71 LTZ. I've had zero issues with the wireless charger up until a few months ago. I have a Samsung S21; I've had it for a few years now. Whenever I get in the truck, the phone goes onto the wireless charger. Every time. The phone has been in the same case since day one; no issues. I have a ten minute commute to work and, previously, when I put my phone on the charger, it will charge an extra 5% or so on the way. I run Spotify and nothing else for the ride (or any ride for that matter). Again, the charger has worked flawlessly. Now, when I put my phone on the charger, it doesn't charge and the phone gets super hot. When I put my phone on any other wireless charger, it charges fine, no issues, no getting super hot.
I just don't understand it. Nothing has changed over the last three years. The issues that I've read about other people are having are similar but not the same as what I am encountering. Before I go spending time and/or money taking things apart and/or replacing things, I figured I'd see if anyone else has encountered the same thing I am dealing with and what, if any, solutions or information y'all have found.
Thank you for any help.
