So i took it into a dealer and they are warranting a new transmission. Another question i have on preserving the new one, does Transgo's shift kit fix the common problems on these transmission like they say it does? Jus tryna figure out if it's worth putting one in after getting the new one. Does anyone have experience with it?

Naw! You wont get burnt out. Not if you wash it regularly. I found it hard to get an even looking finish on chrome, so i didnt the grille or the front bumper. Always said i was gunna sometime but never have. It would be nice for the bugs in summer though if you live in a place where those are abundant!

I have a 2019 sierra 1500 with the 8 speed. Ive noticed for alittle while now that the trans seems to have a low pitch kind of groan when accelerating in the lower gears. It also seems to have excessive slip when accelerating from a stop and the other day it almost didn't want to go for abit when i was taking off. With jus under 50k is this something that will be covered by warranty? Its not bad, its jus kinda noticeable i think and not sure what dealers are gunna say. I had the trans flushed in September. With all the tq problems in the 8 speed it has me scared something is gunna go one of these days.

I've used Adams Graphene Ceramic line. I really like it. It also has a UV tracer which makes it easier to apply without getting high spots.

I also have a '19 that had that problem. Jus bought the truck with under 40k. Had it flushed with updated fluid and its runnin normal now. Cost me about 340 to have it flushed. Would definitely recommend trying that! They told me if that doesnt fix it the converter needs replaced!
