  1. Disregard - I got it! It was fuse #54 which was the one I missed
  2. Another quick update. I got the code out and engine light is gone but assembly still not working. Is it really possible I fried the whole assembly now?
  3. I went in with my own scanner, found a code, deleted it, but check engine light is still on and assembly is still not working. Will a standard OBD-2 scanner not work?
  4. oh that would be amazing. Thank you!!
  5. Btw, it’s a 2024 gmc 3500….should have just paid the extra amount for a putco
  6. Hey guys, I went into my tail light assembly to hardwire an led tail gate light bar. With what I seemed would be an innocent project had my scratching my head…I went to expose the wire to splice into my light bar wires with the truck turned off. I go to turn it back on and it says “check light assembly. Sure enough no power to the back left but right works just fine….thinking it was a fuse I went in and changed what I believe is the fuse # but still nothing….could I have shorted the whole assembly??
  7. Yeah I tried finding it here and boy is it tough hah. I will try again thanks
  8. Anyone know of a resource I can call to find the diagram?
  9. Hey guys, I am looking to tap my tailgate light bar into my tail light and wondering if anyone has the color coding for each wire (left turn, right turn, brake, ground). Also, do both sides of left and right turn or do I need to run one long across to the other side? THanks!
  10. Well that’s awesome…good catch. so I’m back to hardwiring or will that not work either? If I go that route where would you tap into?
  11. Thank you. I did find this product for my specific light bar that I think may work even though it says 1500 not 3500: https://www.amazon.com/OPT7-Redline-Connect-Harness-Silverado/dp/B09YCD82H3/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8
  12. Thank you but I just dont want a plug or wiring from the led bar exposed on the outside whatsoever. Is there no adaptor harness that that "sees resistance" on the market? Hard to believe
  13. Ok then we're looking to do two different things. I am looking to have the lightbar connected behind the back bumper and still be able to use the port for trailer connector. I just need to figure out why my truck (2024 GMC Sierra HD) is saying "trailer disconnected" when I use the Curt harness
  14. but you have the 57004 exposed on the outside and you have to unplug when trailering?
  15. How are we the only ones that have dealt with this? Seems like it should be this complicated and I’m now three harnesses in and still no results.
  16. Also where did you tap your reverse into?
  17. David, I ended up getting the Curt 55384 connector. I heard the only difference is I need to tap into something for constant power? Not sure what they means or what to do. I tried just hooking up the adaptor and it worked for 2 seconds then my truck said “trailer disconnected check connection” - I’m beyond frustrated
  18. So I just heard back from Opt7 customer support and they said they 7 to 4 pin harness doesnt work with 2020+ vehicles and that I need to hardwire the led strip....Wish they would have made that very clear as I wouldnt have purchased....
  19. Hey guys, Have any of you tried out this lightbar from Amazon? I purchased the triple led 60" bar with the 7 to 4 easy connect harness that connects into the trailer adaptor but nothing is working...My only thought is that i havent tapped in the reverse wire yet, but the break and turn signals should still work correct? Fyi, this is on my 2024 Sierra HD. Any suggestions are appreciated otherwise I may have just gotten a dud.
  20. awesome - thank you!!
  21. Does anyone know if I even need to order aftermarket floor mats for my HD that’s arriving this week? It appears from videos that they already have all weather with the carpet insert. Worth upgrading to Weathertec for instance?
  22. awesome thank you! Do you need the extra pipe based on the size difference of the muffler? The borla that much smaller?
  23. I should also mentioned I am clamping the muffler not welding so I need it to slide over the pipes after removing factory muffler
  24. Hey guys, I finally got good news that my truck is built and being shipped. It’s a 3500 AT4. In preparation of it arriving and wanting to swap out the muffler I have been looking to get a XR-1 but not sure what size I need. Would it be the 3.5” in and out? thank you!
  25. Hey everyone, hoping you all can help me figure out this mess that is my truck order….my build went in late July and finally got picked up for a TPW of 9/11. Since then I have heard crickets even though I would expect some communication one way or another for a $80k truck. Nonetheless, I called GM for an update on Friday and they said nothing has changed…you’re still in 3300 status. Wanting a 2nd opinion I called my dealer and they had totally different information…they were able to pull a vin number on my truck. How does GM not have that information but my dealer does?? I called GM back again today to see if they just didn’t have the info but same thing. Nothing has changed…..anyone have a clue what I can do to get an accurate ETA for my truck?
