Greetings GM-trucks, first time on the forum. I've been fixing my own vehicles for the past 20 years of driving, but I'm no pro.
I would like to disable the alarm on my 2000 GMC Yukon XL. I was hoping I could just pull a fuse, but it doesn't appear to be that simple. Electrical stuff has always been over my head, but I can follow directions and know how to use a multi-meter.
My remotes no longer work, and for some stupid reason, the alarm goes off when I use the key to unlock the door. I'm not interested in a new remote, I like how much smaller my keychain is now. I know that unlocking the cargo door 3 times disables the alarm, but that's annoying to do every time.
