  1. Why would you keep a truck in service with an engine oil leak? The part is in the process of failure and leaking oil. It will eventually fail catastrophically and you will lose the engine. You run a risk of your warranty by keeping it in service. I had this discussion with GM. Some units have had catastrophic failure. Take it in and wait, also open a customer care case. That's all you can do. Good luck.
  2. My truck was repaired about a week ago. It was 30 days in the shop waiting on parts. Be nice to your dealer 1. It's not there fault and 2. They have more pull getting parts then you do. My local dealer had 7 waiting for parts. 3. Open a GM customer care case and you will at least receive GM credit points you can use for service latter.
  3. Same issue with my 2024 Ultimate 3500HD. Dealership is in the dark just as much as I am. GM customer service rep less then helpful. No ETA for parts.
