    I just had this code pop on my truck after an ECM update for an unrelated issue. Picked my truck up from dealer and before I even left the check light came on…

    I took my 2021, 3.0 L Duramax in due to the crank no start issue. It never popped a check engine light and it’s done it twice in the last three weeks. Dealer performed an ECM update and when I went to pick the truck up today as soon as I started, it had a check engine light for P1098 coolant control valve. Has anyone experienced this code after an ECM update for the crank no start issue.
