  5. Hello all ! Just signed up here and !m going to be asking a lot of questions ,so please bare with me . We would like to purchase a 2024 Chevrolet 2500 HD or GMC 2500 HD .I think I like the front end of the Chevrolet better . If I'm correct they are basically the same truck . We don't want a diesel as we would not be towing enough to justify it . I'm semi retired so I will be driving locally no long commutes to work . We want to purchase a trailer eventually and do some holidaying . I like to hunt as well . I have looked on YouTube on Fast Lane Trucks and their reviews and, the other channel the name escapes me, maybe Automotive Inquires where he bought the red Chev 2500 Custom . Have you watched either of those channels ? What do you think of the reviews ? I'm thinking as far as trim levels go the Chevrolet Work Truck 2500 HD or the Custom trim level and basically the 2 same trim levels if going GMC . We don't need all the bells and whistles on the higher end trim levels . I like the idea of gauges instead of digital . What's the difference in wheel height between 18'' wheels and 20 '' beside the height ,pros and cons ? I'm in British Columbia , Canada so I would think the truck would be built in Oshawa seems the price of these 2 basic trim levels are from $70.000.00 to $76,000.00 before taxes . I have seen reports of the cabs splitting on these trucks . maybe it was on this forum ? Are those coming from the USA plant (Flint ) ? Not from Canada ? Or both ? If you have one of these trucks could you post up how you like it ,pos and cons . Okay hope I get some replies ,anything you can contribute would be great ! Thank You !
