  1. I finally got around to getting the above Rear Wheel Well Liners as out 2024 2500 HD Custom did not come with rear wheel liners Included with the liners there are some plastic Christmas tree fasteners with washers . I can see that these will work in the round holes in the sheet metal of the wheel wells but what about the line of small square holes in the sheet just above the frame ? Did you use the round Christmas tree fasteners in those holes as well ? Also where do the washers get placed that came with the Christmas tree fasteners ? On the back side of the sheet metal to hold the fastener ? Thank you
  2. Update to this issue as I have now 2 seprate threads on it . JR has graciously offered to help me out by posting a vide of the starting of a 2024 2500 HD 6.6 Gas so I may see and hear what his truck sound like when starting If any of you fellas have the same truck and would care to video a cold remote start so I can tell if it is similar to my it would be appreciated Thank You
  3. Thank you JR ! Whenever you have time to record your tucks starting it will be appreciated !!
  4. JW2024 and Others is this site for Oshawa built Trucks as well ? Thank You !
  5. Thanks JR that would be great if you could do that !!! Do you have a link to where this was discussed before ? I cant seem to find it Thank You Again !
  6. 2024 Chevrolet 2500 HD Custom 6.6 Gas Canadian built Truck I tried to search for my previous thread on this topic but cant find it so my apoligies for starting another one #1 Since we have owned our truck purchased new it has this strange noise after using the remote start function you press the remote start and you hear it start but right at the end of it starting it almost seems like it wants to start again after the truck is running . There is no gap in time it is right at the end of the start . Almost sounds like when you have started a car/truck and its running and then you try and start it again and you get that grinding noise ,sort of #2 You can only hear this if you are standing outside of the truck and near the truck you cant hear it when you start the truck from inside the cab . So it may very well be happening when starting the truck that way as in normally #3 This only happens when it is started after sitting . For how long I don't know but it happens after sitting overnight for sure and it wont do it if you stop the engine after starting and then start it again I have had it in to the Dealership before concerning this but they did not have the truck when it was cold to hear it . Now its back in the Dealership left it overnight so they could possibly hear the problem . They said they tried and nothing happened . Well they did not know what they were listening for . I started the truck remotely and BINGO it makes the noise . Oh that sounds weird they say . We need to look into it ! I have left for this week at the Dealership Does your 2024 2500 HD gas do this ? Any of you fellas care to take the time and trouble to film this operation from a cold start so I can hear what your sound like Really would like to know if this is anormal sound Thank You Fellas !!
  7. Thank you fellas sorry I'm getting back late on this !
  8. Pryme and Jake 111 Could you please provide the part number for the Husky liners you installed for your 2500 HD's I think there are 2 different types Thank You
  9. Fondupot . What are RC liners ? Im not familiar with those initials ? Also do you have a part number for the RC's Thank you !
  10. Thank you all for the replies !! I think I'm going to go with plastic fender well liners not factory felt ones .
  11. Not sure if any of you read my post about the issue I had with headlight condensation awhile back If you did I think that the problem was that when I washed out the front wheel wells when cleaning the truck The felt liners allowed the water to get in behind the headlight lens and that caused the condensation . I don't see those felt liners being waterproof if they are being blasted with water . Thoughts ? Thank you !
  12. Brad . No I have not waxed the front wheel fender wells . The truck came with the factory felt type front wheel liners. So I did not remove them to wax the metal underneath them . I want to do this waxing on the rear fender well metal before installing the rear liners . Im not waxing the liners Im waxing the metal . Sorry if I did not come across as I intended .
  13. Thought I started a post on this but cant seems to find it . Our truck came without the Rear Wheel Liners and it seems to me that it would be a smart thing to put some in to prevent crap from hitting the metal there ,along with what ever deicing they put on the roads . I'm thinking the Husky plastic ones but some say the fitment his hit ands miss ? What about the GM factory ones that are like the front which seems to be a felt type fabric ? I have hard you need to take off the black mouldings around the wheel well to get the factory ones on ? Before I put anything in there Im going to Wool Wax the hell out of the metal Thank you !
  14. Anyone add anything to this topic . What do you have on your 2500 HD seats ? How do they fit the fit ? How are they standing up ? I have the 3rd seat in the middle for the extra person if needed Thank you
  15. Looks Heavy Duty but is it the full length of the box ?

  22. Truck is 2025 Chevrolet 2500 HD Custom 6.6 Gas . Truck was built in Oshawa . I have a couple of threads on here fellas but I thought I would just check something out . Someone has told me that there is a recall or a special bulletin for the tranny on this truck . Is this true ? Also where do I look for recalls and Special Bulletins for this truck ? Thank You !
  23. I have taken the truck into the dealership to see what the problem might be . Well it would not make the noise after repeated remote starts . So Its only when the truck has not be driven beforehand . So the dealership wants me to take a video of it starting from a cold start to see if they might be able to figure it out or leave it overnight and they try it in the morning
  24. Thanks JR So maybe I have the better half start it from the inside and see if I hear the noise from the outside like I do when I start it remotely
