  1. I believe so, I used a 10amp fuse to replace the factory fuse in 42 and a 10amp fuse for the roof lights in the add a circuit.
  2. Yes I did, factory ones. They keep blowing 10amp fuses in the add a circuit. But the strange thing is, it keeps blowing the fuse for 42, so I lose all of my marker lights on the truck but the roof lights stay on. What size fuse should I be using? The factory is 10amp for RH markers.
  3. I'm continuously blowing fuses with add a circuit, tied to 42 parking lamp right. Any suggestions?
  4. Thank you! I used all factory parts, here's the list: Genuine GM Roof Wiring Harness #84694118 OEM GM Sierra, Silverado LED Amber #84747497, #84747496 Now the 1500s aren't pre-wired like the 2500s, but all the clips on this harness will still clip into the roof of a 1500. Thought this was a nice surprise! All I did was snip the plug off the harness where it would plug into the A pillar harness and run 2 wires down the pillar. Ground one find power for the other and you're done! Here is the link for the template, for 2500s but the measurements are all the same: https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/248996-how-to-add-cab-lights-to-a-2020-silverado/
  5. I added roof lights, factory lights and factory 2500 harness and I need to find a spot to tap power to run them. I want them to function like factory lights, on with the DRL, parking lights, with fob. I cut the end off the factory wiring harness I purchased and ran 2 wires down the pillar one power one ground, and I have a good ground. Is there anywhere to tap off the BCM with a T tap? I can't for the life of me figure out how to do this, and I'm not good at reading a wiring diagram. Is there anyone that can tell me "put a tap on the ____ connector at pin ____" All help appreciated!
  6. I just tried tapping into this wire and it did not work. Which wire can you tap to make accessory lights come on as described?
  7. My 21 1500 custom has a violet wire on this plug. Is that it?
  8. I grounded them to the chassis I just need a marker lamp wire somewhere near the bcm to tap in and power them. Tried an add a circuit in the main fuse box, kept blowing fuses for parking lamp B.
  9. I have a 21 silverado 1500 custom that I put roof lights on, I need to find a wire that I can put a T tap on to make them work. I want them to function like a factory light, on with headlights, parking lights, and when you press the fob. Is there a wire in the BCM or in that area I can tap to? Any help appreciated!
