I have a 2023 Silverado 6500 stake bed diesel. We modified the stake bed and the welder wasn't paying attention. He melted the wiring on one of the marker lights. I assume the next time the lights were used is when it shorted. Now the driver side tail light and the marker lights on both sides don't work. The marker lights are all fed from the driver side tail light. I have cleared the short and have checked the rest of the lights. The only light on the bed that works is the passenger side tail light There are no bad fuses. I was told there is a module that controls the lights (BCM possibly) and if a short is detected it will kill that circuit. I was also told if the short is cleared the module would reset that circuit. Does anyone have any advice? Thank you,
