Help me understand the hydraulic system on this please. If I were to swap out the stock cam and lifters for the LS7 parts, and run the engine without the Pulsar LT installed, would the oil pressure bleed off through the lifters?
I put this one together, and above idle, it has 50-55 psi oil pressure.
At idle, the pressure bleeds down, and the lifters start talking.
Pump pickup is clean, all bearing clearances are perfect. AFM/DOD solenoids and wiring were left intact and connected, as instructed by AMS Racing.
