So just found out about the back seat problem in the 2024 Denali 1500..
I was ready to purchase the damn truck until I decided at the last minute to sit in the back seat. We occasionally travel with adults in the back seat in my 2015 Silverado LTZ and they love the comfort. It took just a few seconds to discover that GM missed the boat on their luxury trucks. The seating angle felt like sitting up straight in a kitchen chair. And it felt like sitting on a wooden plank between two metal bolster supports barely covered with cushioning and upholstery. I'm not an overweight guy, but those metal side bolster dug into my hips.
Unbelievable for a luxury vehicle. Evidently according to the fleet sales guy, Silverado seats are now the same way.
I asked what if the abbreviated storage trough under the seat wasn't ordered, could the thicker seats be installed and he said nope.
Been a Chevy/GM guy all my life. But for trucks at least, that's now over. The 2015 Silverado LTZ of the last 3 LTZ'S I've owned and was by far the absolute best of them.
