lurker_007, Did you ever figure out a solution to this issue? I recently bought a 2024 Silverado 2500 and upgraded my bumper pull to a fifth wheel. Never had this issue with the bumper pull but I have experienced this tugging since bringing the fifth wheel home from the dealer. Checked out everything on the fifth wheel, tried towing it without the 7pin connected, etc, and am at the point where it appears it is something with the truck. I can mention to them about the torque converter, but any insight that you have that I can take to my local Chevy dealer would be appreciated.
