  1. Yes. My valve bodies were replaced. I waited 2 months for them to come in just like everyone else. Thanks for the info!!
  2. My 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 transmission valve bodies went in Oct and I got my truck back in early Jan. My dealer called me a few weeks ago and stated there was a conditional recall that took effect in April 2024 that needed to take place. The condition being anyone who had gone through valve body replacements under warranty. So for the last 2 days my truck was in the shop having this completed. The recall number is listed on the invoice but I couldnt find anything with more details on google.

  4. Day 63 and I finally get my truck back today. Will post the actual part number when I get the paperwork.
  5. Day 51 and my valve bodies finally showed up at the dealer today. Hopefully the end is near for me. I did a whole lot of complaining to GM customer service and made several escalations. I have no idea if that helped move things along or not.
  6. After being promised I would hear back no later than today on my lemon law claim GM did not contact me nor did they return my call today. Not surprised really. They are doing a great job of killing off a life long customer who was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. I guess i’ll just go the lemon law attorney route.
  7. Now that i’m over 30 days I have officially requested a buyback. GM called today to let me know they would have an answer by this Thursday. Per AZ lemon law they dont have any reason to deny my request but we’ll see. Trying to work through this directly with GM but if things get bumpy i’ll just turn it over to a lemon law attorney.
  8. GM customer care is useless. My “advisor” is never in and never returns calls and no one else will help me. I’ve had years of happy GM ownership with other vehicles, but they’re quickly burning through the good will.
  9. I already have a case open with customer care. Are you saying you will provide additional assistance?
  10. Turns out GM did not ship the part and have no ETA. Not sure why they said it was shipped. We’re at 21 days now. I reiterated today that at day 30 I would like to make a lemon law claim. We’ll see what happens…..
  11. Quick update - Got GM customer care involved yesterday and advised them when this hits 30 days on 11-30 I will be looking to make a lemon law claim. They called me back today and advised me the valve bodies were shipped today and the dealer will have them next week.
  12. Confirmed it’s my valve bodies. There are none available and there is no ETA as to when they will become available. At this point I go to the back of the line and wait…..what is likely months.
  13. Add another person in the same boat. My 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 with 10k miles had the transmission go out last week. First I lost reverse and then while driving to the dealer it went into limp mode. Been waiting for 5 days for the dealer to officially diagnose the issue.
