Hey Folks I'm an owner of a GMC Sierra. 2015, 43,000 miles on it. Bought it five years ago & added 20,000 miles in five years. All the services etc been done. For me this was the perfect truck until it developed what seems like the dreaded lifter/camshaft issue. Here's my question. If I get it repaired (instead of taking a hit on using it as a low rent trade in) will the repair last or is it just waiting to develop more/same issues. I dunno if I'll ever trust it again, but mechanically how will it hold up after a repair of this type & are they usually successful or is it just a big old cool looking lemon?
