  1. @HHHokay, cool deal! The 30amp fuse is for the passenger seat harness. ****If your truck has those pins in the passenger harness already then you don't need the fuse or the passenger harness from harnessdr. This video shows you. I recommend watching the whole thing but around the 13 minute mark he installs that fuse and wire.
  2. @HHHhappy to help! It's a little difficult to figure it out that's why I wanted to make this post. Try and disconnect the battery before swapping the seats next time to see if the service restraint light doesn't come on. I never got that message so I am not sure what's going on there. So on the driver seat, I have swapped a cloth harness into an at4 seat and a Denali seat with the memory module. It's not terrible but you will definitely want the seats out of the vehicle to do it. Take your time and take pictures as you take it apart to help remember how to put it back together. I would start with removing the harness from the leather memory module seat that way if you brake a connector or something you know what not to do on the harness you will be using lol. There are a lot of connectors and stuff. Definitely need an assortment of small flathead screw drivers and needle nose pliers. Be very careful with the zippers on the rear of the seat to open the back cover (it will make sense once you start taking it apart). I broke one and it caused the top seat cover to need repaired/replaced. Feel free to ask questions as they come up and I will try and respond asap
  3. Thanks everyone for the input. I ended up going a different route and it's all posted on this forum if anyone's interested. https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/270652-how-to-swap-factory-cloth-seats-to-leather-seats-19-22-gmcchevy-ltlttrailbosssleelevation/
  4. ** Do this at your own risk!!! Alright, here is most of what you need to know if you are wanting to install AT4/Denali/HighCountry/LTZ (or any seat with a driver seat memory module) leather seats into your mid level trims SLE/LT (and sub trims) Chevy and GMC pickups with power driver and manual passenger. My swap cost me just under $700. I believe I got a good deal on the seats ($575) Parts list: 1: Leather seats from AT4/Denali/HighCountry/LTZ 2: Memory module bypass from the HarnessDR ($167) (****unless you swap the wiring harness and control panel from the cloth seat to the leather seat which is what I did and what I recommend to save $$) 3: The HarnessDR passenger manual to power harness ($75) 4: A 30A GM fuse (I found one at Napa) ($5) 5: A few miscellaneous electrical parts (wire stripper/crimper, electrical tape, suitcase wire splicer) Things to note: Find a set of leather seats (AT4/Denali/HighCountry/LTZ) on places like FB marketplace, Craigslist, etc. Decide if you want to keep/sell the cloth seats. If not, then we will use the wiring harness off of the cloth driver seat. If you do want to try and sell/keep the cloth seats, then you will need to purchase a memory module bypass from the HarnessDR ($167). Front heat seats will work but rear heat seats and front cooling features will not work. ****This install will be based on swapping the wiring harness from the cloth to leather driver seat to bypass the memory module not using the HarnessDR driver memory module bypass harness. **** This is my first time doing this, everything worked correctly for me but warning, you are changing wiring harnesses from cloth to the leather there is a possibility for something to get messed up and to cause electrical issues. Do this at your own risk. How to install: 1: Disconnect the trucks battery. 2:Remove all seats from truck. 3: Starting with the driver seat, carefully remove the wiring harness out of your cloth seat. Remove the harness out of the leather seat and remove the memory module. Then install the cloth seat harness into the leather seat. Make sure to plug in ALL the connectors on the cloth harness to the leather seat in the right place. (Helpful tools: needle nose pliers, small screwdriver, and miscellaneous other tools) ***(Tip: take pictures of the harness on both seats before you remove) ****Process will probably take about an hour depending on skill level. 4: Once you have swapped the wiring harness, then install the driver seat into the vehicle and plug it in. Voila, if everything went well everything should work correctly. 5: Passenger seat is a little easier. follow video instructions from the HarnessDR (link at the bottom of this post) on swapping passenger seat from manual to power. Basically you will run a wire over to the passenger side wire block and splice into the driver lumbar power wire. Then you will run a wire over to the passenger side fuse block for your main power. The wiring harness has pretty much everything you need except for a wire spice and a 30 amp fuse. Once you have done that, install the seat and plug it in and everything should work correctly. 6: The rear seats are the easiest of them all, there is multiple videos online on how to remove them, and you just repeat the steps in reverse order to install the new leather seats. Like I said above, the rear heat seats won't work without highly modifying it so everything just sets into place where the old seats were with no modifications. That's it!! Now factory cloth truck has some fancy new leather seats! Happy to answer questions!
  5. Howdy, I just picked up a set of '19 AT4 seats for my '20 Elevation. My Elevation if factory heated cloth with power driver seat. I was wondering to bypass the memory module on the AT4 driver seat, if I can just take the wiring harness out of my cloth driver seat and install it on my AT4 seat and just not plug in the extra stuff the AT4 seat has? My AT4 seats did not come with the memory module (I guess someone removed it) so in order to do the full seat swap I would need to purchase the module and the harnessdr memory module bypass harness and it would be around $300 for both. I plan on getting the harness for passenger manual to power seat from harnessdr anyway but just trying to figure something out on the driver seat situation. I really appreciate any help or input!
  6. I got a set of '19 AT4 seats for my '20 Elevation cloth truck. I paid $575 for the full set. The AT4 driver front seat is missing the driver memory control module. To do the full swap I would need to purchase the memory module, the bypass harness from harnessdr, and the passenger manual to power harness from harnessdr (total around $375). Thinking about purchasing the harness for the passenger manual to power harness ($77) and then attempt to swap the leather AT4 OEM cover over to my original driver seat. My question is has anyone removed the cloth OEM covers and replaced them with leather OEM covers? Is it possible? Any big difference in the actual seat foam etc? Thanks!!
