Gotcha, that was gonna be my next question what should I replace with. Thank you! I am new to a 6.2l and 10 spd I have never had anything but 5.3L, I just dont want to have the horror stories I have read about the issues surrounding them. I appreciate the reply

Good morning all, I have been looking at numerous forums and topics about this same issue, and most have never really found a solution from what I can see. I got a Sierra 1500 6.2L used with 29k on it, and the day I brought it home I got the Shift To Park message (Annoying, but I have dealt with that in prior GM vehicles) so I am getting that taken care of, but as of the last couple days I have noticed when I am going 45-55 MPH with very very light foot on the gas to maintain speed, like others, my RPMs will bounce between 1,000-1,200 for a few seconds, and the truck will "shudder" (as other described it feels like going over some tiny bumps or the rumble strips) and it will fix itself within a few seconds, or go away when I punch it. It is worth noting that the trans itself has impressed me so far it is smooth and responsive, and I am coming from a previous 8 speed Silverado RST and before that a 6 speed Silverado LT which had the trans blown, so I am beyond impressed. I also have a plugin from Orange/Range tech in the OBD port to cancel the AFM/DFM but the problem has presented itself prior to doing that (not as much I may add) and I know I have seen others say anything from trans flid flush which I plan to do, to a new torque converter. My question is, all of these topics are years old that I have been seeing, is there anything as of now in 2024 that has been discovered or that I can personally do to fix the problem? I love this truck, way more than others I have owned, and I dont want my experience with GM trucks to be ruined by such a small issue. Any input is helpful!
