recently had this transmission rebuilt and its only been around 2,000 miles since its been put it in and today at a stoplight. The pickup made a loud sound like if a pulley belt had torn apart, and you could smell from inside the cab, like something had been burnt. but after pulling into the parking lot and looking further into the pickup the belts were fine and the ticking had come from the transmission. was not like that before and now I'm trying to troubleshoot what it could be.
