I have a similar issue and would appreciate some guidance.
I purchased a new Trailboss in 2024, and with less than 9,000 miles, it went into limp mode in early November while my son was away at college. He has since graduated and moved to a different city, yet the truck remains at the dealership in his college town, awaiting repairs.
While I appreciate that he was provided with an Impala as a temporary vehicle, this situation has become increasingly frustrating. The dealership has advised us to contact GM directly, which I have done. I have a case number and have spoken with GM representatives, who are courteous on the phone but have yet to follow through on promised callbacks.
The dealership has informed me that they have three vehicles with the same issue sitting on their lot and are unable to obtain the necessary part. Meanwhile, my son is making payments on a $60,000 truck but is driving a $30,000 Impala. This is simply unacceptable. Not sure what my next step should be. Appreciate any advice.
