To diagnose temp issues on these trucks, you really need a scanner. The $30 bluetooth ones on the jungle website are perfect. It graghs the coolant temp for you. You can actually watch the thermostat open and close. You will know immediately what the problem is.

I had the same problem. It was the sway bar frame mount.

Sounds like a loose spark plug to me. Mine have come loose a few times. Ticks just like a lifter

I just replaced my magneride with eibach stage 2r. Rides much better. The magneride shocks are not blown. Less than 30k on them if you are interested but i would recommend trying a regular shock.

I use a fluid extractor to suck the trans fluid out of the dipstick tube. If I jack the front up a few inches I can get about 5 to 6 quarts. I do this every 10k but I bought the truck with 65k and the fluid had never been changed. That first time i dropped the pan and changed the filter but there is no reason to ever do that again if you keep new fluid in it

First post. 2015 Sierra Denali. I replaced Magneride with Eibach's new stage 2R coilovers and rear shocks. The coilovers are height adjustable and at the lowest setting it levels the truck perfectly. I imagine the highest setting would raise the front way above level. The ride is significantly better in every way. It handles better and takes bumps softer. My stock front springs were 600lb and the the Eibachs come with 700lb. Amazon sells a 3 ohm 100W resistor to fix the suspension warning light. Hope this helps someone who is deciding to ditch Magneride. It's definitely worth it.
