So I am hoping someone might be able to help me or give me some insight on here with an issue I started having with my aftermarket tail lights. I have had them for 8-9 years now and never had an issue but the left rear turn signal started intermittently malfunctioning 3-4 weeks ago where it would start hyper-flashing after 3 blinks. It was pretty sporadic at first and would usually go away but for the past week it’s been doing it every time I use it now. I finally figured I would do some troubleshooting today. The fuses and bulbs were all good; I thought maybe it was the resistor causing the issue since they are LED lights so I took the resistor out of my right taillight and plugged it into my left taillight and it was still doing it so thought I eliminated the resistor as the issue. Next I took the whole right taillight assembly and plugged the left connector into that to see if it was the taillight itself or the wiring harness that was causing the issue. The right taillight worked fine which led me to believe it must be the taillight itself and not the wiring harness. Well I took the right taillight and put that back in the right side of my truck and now that one is hyper-flashing too haha?! No idea why that one would be doing it now too as that never had an issue before…any idea what could be causing this? Thanks for any help or advice in advance!
