  1. another thread on here stating same thing
  2. 2020 Silverado 50k miles, just got around to differential and t-case fluid swaps and found the rear diff was 1qt low. I recall reading someone else saying the same thing but never thought it could be wide spread so just filed it away in my brain. For what its worth, fluid was clean/not burnt. minimal material on the magnet. My truck came with the SU7 rear and SU4 front. Moral of the story, maintenance your differentials if you haven't already.
  3. Mine failed first with rpm flares arount 70mph. I tried swapping fluid and it evolved to harsh rumble strips symptoms. I barely made it to the dealer with intent to trade it in. Polished the paint and detailed the interior. The salesman took my keys and drove it 100ft to someone in a bay , came back and was none the wiser. They listed it on the used car lot for 2 days and then it disappeared. I guarantee it did not survive a test drive.
  4. uh huh, until its stolen and you have to walk. That's the problem with the 01-06.5 trucks, get one in good shape and it'll be stolen. Highly desirable and not by just us. OP, if you want reliable you're going to have to pay for it and keep up on maintenance.
