Good Morning, I have a 1969 GMC C2500 Dump truck with dually. I need to replace my rims and tires as they have fallen off once and tried a second time. The lug nuts just keep coming loose. My son worked at LeSchabe and said that the rims are no good. That I will have to tighten the lug nuts after each use (he was right). So here's the rub. The truck has a bunch of mods (Dump bed being one of them). Built in Oregon. I want to upsize the tires (Currently they are LT235/85R16) Since the Speedometer says the truck is going 7 mph faster than it really is and the 411 rear end makes it nuts to travel at 60 mpy (3K rpms), I want to get a little more out of each rotation of the tires. It has a SM465 4 sp manual transmission and Granny Low is about 4 mph, 7 mph max. Need recommendations.
