thanks for the reply. they can only go one way and Im pretty confident they are on correctly. we looked them over and took them on and off quite a few times after we realized they we rnt on as tight as original. good to double check, steering seems to be working fine also.

hey guys, today I helped my father in law install his 2" rough country leveling kit on his 2016 4x4 dbl cab z71. we disconnected the electric power steering as the instructions said, and I don't believe we damaged the plugs in any way, but they don't "click" back on, and can be removed without sliding the retaining clip out. anyone have any issues like this? I dont think they will come off , and we wire tied then just in case, but they arnt right. any input or thought is greatly appreciated.
