Just curious if anyone knows how accurate this is? I am sure there is a certain amount that does not drain out of the truck. Also did you drain the oil out of the filter into the bottle?

This poll is flawed if I understand correctly, we know if people are burning or not. But theres no way to accuratly gauge which engines are burning more, you can still pick engines and amounts of oil even if you choose "No" That is why you then post in here if you are using oil. Please stay on topic!

There are many topics out there and no real data between members. Hopefully this will catch some data and show a real story. Please be thruthful with your selections. Please only post oil consumtion concerns here and please stay on topic. Please no long debates about AFM people either love it or hate it we all understand this. Thanks!

the ford v10 is an awful engine.. no more power then a v8 and god awful gas mileage and from my expirences bad reliability... We had a 03 or 04 work truck ford crewcab long bed 2wd with the V-10. We averaged about 3.5 mpg It was the supervisors (we shared it) truck at the steel mill I worked at. The truck was run pretty much 12-16 hrs a day straight hauling people and tools, we idled alot and drove in a harsh environement. It was beat up thats for sure. Went through 2 trans in the 15-20K miles we put on it before getting a new one. I liked our 98 1 ton dually chevy flatbeds those held up much better.

The tourney was pretty good this yr. Purdue made a good run. Can't wait until next yr they should be much better and thats scary.
