  1. Just to follow up for anyone that might be interested - I picked up two 85813746 cameras to replace the older cameras that worked with my '21 truck. The 85813746 work perfectly and are a replacement for 85573256. This must be a really recent substitution because my 2025 has a 85573256 in the tailgate and it was built in late March. thanks,
  2. Hi everyone, I just moved from a '21 AT4 3500 to a '25 Denali Ultimate and neither of my trailer cameras work. Tried to order 85573256 from the GMC website. I can add 85573256 to my cart but can't check out so i called my dealer. They said there is a new part number on the parts diagram for the tailgate camera - 85813746. Google doesn't show any results for this new part number yet. Anyone know if 85813746 is a legit substitution and will it work as i replace the old cameras in my traier cam set up? Thanks in advance!
  3. I think you answered my question and found what I was looking for! Thank you! Those dims are really close to what I'm measuring as well and if they are bluish-greenish, they must be it! Thanks again for the help!
  4. I apologize for any confusion. The only thing I need is the smaller nut.
  5. Hi All, Looking for help finding a part number. I stripped a couple nut inserts in the process of installing the multipro hitch cover on my 2025 Denali Ultimate and trying to find replacements. I had to remove the plastic cover circled in the diagram below and as you can see, the hardware to mount is not shown. There are 10 screws with T20 torx heads that hold the panel on and go into a stamped nut insert which is what i stripped out. I went through every piece of hardware in the Body Hardware category on the GMC parts ordering site and found some similar parts and GM calls them "multi-purpose nuts" but didn't see the exact one I need. The ones I need are green plated and about 16mm across the top and snap into square holes in the tailgate that are 8.5mm x 8.5mm. They look like the 2nd picture below except they have a green color. Any help finding the correct part number is much appreciated. thanks.
  6. Nine weeks to the day from official order to delivery to the dealer. I will take possession this Friday. In 2020, I waited just over 6 months for my 2021 AT4 and in 2017 it took over 3 months to get a Denali. A little over 2 months isn't too bad......
  7. Dealer just e-mailed that my truck was built and gave me a VIN. Not bad for order-to-build time of 36 days. Now I'll see how long it takes to arrive to ND from Flint.
  8. How are you guys getting e-mails from GM about the progress of your order/builds? Is that something I would need to sign up for? I ordered a '25 3500 long box Denali Ultimate on 2/10 and the dealer told me tentative production week was 3/3/25. thanks,
  9. Wow........looks like GM has improved lead times recently. I ordered on 6/22/20 - right when the window for ordering '21's opened knowing the plant wasn't scheduled for switch over until late September. Don't know the acceptance date, but truck was built week of 11/2/20 and delivered to the dealership on 11/21/20. I ordered a 3500 AT4 crew long box Duramax w/ Premium Plus package in white.
  10. I'm just starting the negotiations with the dealer. The 2021 isn't even in yet so I have some time. Just want to be sure I'm not way out of line with what to expect for on my trade. As for the dealer, they have no new HD trucks on the lot (3 on order - mine plus 2 others) and only 1 used 2018 (gasser). Where the dealer is, the market is exceptional and supply is limited for duramaxes - they'll most likely get the $63k for the truck. What is the best group to sell on FB markets place? The good news is I can manage to buy the 2021 outright and stick it to the dealer if I have to and work to sell my current one outside of that deal.
  11. appreciate the feedback. I'm fully aware that I need to consider the additional sales tax if I go private party. A little more context on the dealer: they have a 2018 Chevy 2500 used on their website. Their sale price on that matches KBB price exactly. If they do the same on my trade, they will be asking ~$63k. Offering me $47k seems very low. When I challenged them, the dealer said KBB prices are way off and too high, yet they advertise the KBB prices on their website. Feels like they are trying to screw me pretty hard. And this will be the 3rd Duramax HD truck I've bought from them in 7 years......
  12. Hi all, I accidentally posted this in the half ton section first.......looking for some advice on trade in value of my 2017. I ordered a 2021 AT4 3500 and the dealer is only offering me $47k on trade on my 2017. The 2017 is a 3500 Duramax Denali SRW w/ 8ft bed, 33,600 miles and fully loaded (rear seat entertainment, sun roof, goose ball package, Z71). I also have Air Lift air bags, Access toneau cover, GM camera package, GM keypad entry, and Weathertech floor liners. The Kelly Blue Book value comes in at $58-60k. Wondering if the dealer is really low balling me. I am able to get the GM supplier discount price on the 2021 so the discount or best price that the dealer advertises shouldn't matter. I feel like the dealer is offering me way too low of a trade in the 2017. Let me know what you guys think. thanks,

  14. Well, saw GM released the '21 info on the 15th on https://www.gmfleetorderguide.com/ and went to the dealer over the weekend and put money down. Got my order submitted today on a 3500 AT4 Duramax with the Premium Plus package. Anyone have any ideas or info when they change over to '21 production? Dealer said they could still '20s too so I'm guessing best case is I see the truck in October. Worst case is maybe December considering the backlog with COVID disruption? Thanks.
