  1. So we bought our truck (2015 Silverado 1500 LTZ), then less than a month later bought our camper and it became apparent very quick that the stock mirrors weren't gonna cut it. So we got these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07W2W5G36?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share&fbclid=IwAR3-ACNv-Vvp8uDJLfUTaR9xGSzSy-vidlZy-emI-7smuUpgVRlhGZ54CNo&th=1 now 3 yrs later the drivers side one (power fold) folds out way past where it should stop. I have to fold it in the back out and stop it where I want it with my hand. There's also a lot of play with the hinge when its stopped. So something is obviously broken in there Im just wondering if any of you have run into this issue with aftermarket or OEM mirrors. I cant reach out to the company as it looks like a chinese co. that has no contact and I really don't wanna order another pair. Does anyone have pictures of the mirror hinge with all the plastic stripped off so maybe I can see how they work? Thanks!
  2. I got these OPT7 "running board lights" that are running light sequential turn and courtesy light along the rocker panel. I was planning on tying them in to the door wiring on the A pillar but I was curious if the BCM could handle the extra minimal load on the cargo light and turn signal circuits (not hooking up running light since I'm not a fan of the look down there). only reason being is the BCM is much more accessible than getting access to the door wiring plugs and I'm lazy
  3. So I have a question for you electrical gurus.. I see posts all over about the cargo lights on with reverse using a diode. I see boost even sells a kit.. I'd like to have my cargo lights come on in reverse but also have my reverse come on when I turn the cargo on.. can I just go the same route splicing wires at the BCM but use a wire instead of a diode ? Will this damage anything back feeding the reverse signal like that ? its a 2015 Silverado 1500 LTZ
