    NNBS 2007 Sierra 5.3l CC Z71. Oil consumption started around 25k miles, and has progressively gotten worse. Now has 45k miles. I have used only Royal Purple 5w30 and its starting to get REALLY expensive. I also have a 2009 silverado with the 5.3 l with just under 30k miles and absolutely no oil consumption.. James
