When i listen to songs through my phone Spotify, the volume is terribly low. I have a 2024 Sierra, so its all wireless. It's really no different if i play it through the Spotify App on the audio system. Any idea of settings that fix this?

I am sure some have, but have you installed a set of Audio Frog GS690 6x9's in the front door of your Silverado/Sierra? Crutchfield doesn't show they fit. But, i feel like they might with some modifcations.

Back in December, i ordered the Kicker Subwoofer from the GM Accessories site. Between all the points i had saved up, and the 20% discount i would up paying about $175. Pretty happy with that. I tried, unsuccessfuly, to install it about a month ago. Fought like hell to get the wiring thorough the firewall. I have a 2024 Sierra. This weekend, we had nice mid 60's weather and i watched a few more Youtube videos. Took me about 2 1/2 hours total. Got the wiring all routed, even added the Kicker Bass knob, mounted that fairly hidden under the dash. Went to make the final connection, could not find the fuse. I know earlier in the day i saw the fuse. Only thought is it got shuffled under the carpet on the passenger side when i put all of that back. So, a quick run to the auto parts store to get the wrong size, then another run to Walmart for the correct one. Do not advise a 10:30 pm Saturday night run to Walmart. There are things you cannot unsee. All in all, got the fuse in, everything works. I've been adjusting it ever so slightly, haven't really hammered it yet. It made a huge difference, in the way i can balance out the speakers. My sad realization is i would starve as a mechanic/tech. My 52 year old back did not enjoy all of the odd poses i had to do to get to the firewall and other connections. AT my pace, i would probably make .87 cents an hour. My hat off to all of you that have the patience and skill.

Not sure the best way to word this. My wife and i bought a used 2016 Cadillac XRS from Carmax earlier this year. Not my choice to purchase from there, she likes dealing with them. Her car, she is happy. The car itself is great, only 52,000 miles, old lady drove it locally. Is there a way to see if particular services have been performed on it by plugging in a reader at the dealer? Carmax wasn't helpful, just that they ran a Carfax on it, came back clean.

I've noticed when i'm listening to XM on my radio and switch over to Android Auto to play stuff off of Spotify, i have to turn it up a fair amount to get the same loudness. I have an Android S22 Ultra. Anyone else experience that? Is there a setting in the phone that may need changing? I have a 2024 GMC Sierra with Bose...

So, ever since i got my 2024 Sierra, i've been saving my GM Points from service for the GM Kicker subwoofer kit. I have about $550 credit right now. Recently on another forum, someone mentioned that they went with a Kicker 51PTRTP10, a box with a 10" passive sub and amp. It's not a direct bolt on so to speak, but i doesn't take up much more room under the seat. I have found sources online for a new one in box for $350. Does anyone here have experience with this subwoofer? Any better than the GM version? Installation would be roughly the same, power wire from the battery, and this one would tie into the BOSE amp behind the rear seat.

Maybe this topic has been asked and covered, i didn't find much. I bought a new 2024 GMC Sierra last year, with a 6.2 and max tow package. I have a 2020 Rockwood MiniLight that came with a tire pressure monitoring system, and the dash mount device. I had new tires put on the camper last year, and the first time i pulled it with the new truck i tried to set up the existing system. For whatever reason, couldn't get them to register. I followed the directions on the trailering app. After that i got thinking, should my truck have come with extra sensors in the glove box? I purchased it out of state, and it was delivered to me, so i never got to ask about it before hand. If the trucks don't typically come with them, well, kinda lame, but ok. I assume i can buy the correct type online that will mate up with the truck trailering app? Everything else works great, pulls like a dream.

Over the weekend, i was able to find time to get the factory bezels out and take the tips to a local shop to weld them up. Very pleased with the way it turned out!

Yes, these are the speakers in the top of the dash. Take both grab handles off (10 mm bolts), then pop the front-most dash cover off. Two 7mm bolts hold in each speaker.

Yes, i have the Bose system.

Over the weekend, i replaced the dash speakers in my 2024 GMC. I went with Audiofrog GS25 from Crutchfield. Very simple to do. They came with the wiring pigtails, same OHM rating as factory. They sound light years better! Listened to some Frank Sinatra, Shinedown and some country, so much more detail in the music! There are probably equal speakers that cost much less, but i'm pleased with my choice. Next up is adding the GM subwoofer under rear seat with the bass knob.

I have a 2024 GMC Sierra with a 6.2. I want to replace the HDMI ports with quad black chrome tips. I measured the exhaust pipe at 2.5" o.d. What should the inlet of the tip i choose be? Should it be a 3" inlet to the tip?

Did you have any issues fitting the AudioFrog 6x9's in the front doors? Pretty much sounds like what i am planning to do to mine. Does it sound pretty good? Do you feel you got your moneys worth?

Hey, i have a 2024 GMC Sierra SLT with the updated dash, Bose system (for what it's worth). Those that have replaced the speakers in the front doors, did you go with a 6x9 or a 6" speaker? If 6x9, what speaker did you choose? I am going to update the dash speakers to Audiofrog GS25, and at some point add the GM/Kicker sub under the rear seat.

I'm looking to upgrade the door speakers in my 2024 GMC 1500. It has the Bose system. Has anyone gone with the Audio Frog GS60 speaker? I am planning on throwing the Audio Frog GS25's in the dash. At some point i'll add the GM/Kicker subwoofer in the back to fill in the missing bass. Would it be better to go with a 6x9 in the front doors, or 6"?

I have a 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 with the fancy po-tailgate. Is there a way to lock the main tailgate? I see how you can lock the middle portion, but can't find a way to lock the tailgate.

Thanks for posting these pictures! I was thinking i needed to intercept those wires in the center console somehow. I am getting close to have enough points to pay for the Kicker sub up front, so hopefully early next year i'll be doing this mod. I had a decent system in my old F150, and went base to basic stock in my 2012 Silverado. Looking forward to a little extra bump in my 2024 GMC.

I have a 2024 GMC Sierra, 8,000 miles. Mostly trouble free, but twice this week when i get in and start up, all of my XM presets are gone. The terrestrial radio presets are still there. I am taking it in Monday for an oil change, and the update that was sent out a month or so ago. It doesn't sound like will fix my problem, but still needs to be done. Anyone else see this before?

I did try the dimming switch, i didn't notice any difference.
