  1. The 1500 Standard Box 6'6" bed isn't a unicorn truck around here but definitely not as common as the short box. My local dealer has 5 of the standard box in the Denali Trim. 4 are 2018s and 1 is a 2019. Like you I have a '07 LBZ Duramax with just over 100k miles. Still in great shape but I may not be towing as much as I do now in the near future. If that's the case I may find myself selling the LBZ and getting a 6.2L 1500 Standard Box.
  2. Filled up with diesel at a Shell station for $2.63 per gallon and picked up a new picnic table...
  3. Not big on the lifted trucks with wheels that stick way out, but definitively some nice rides.
  4. Changed the oil and replaced both front wheel speed sensors on my wife's Yukon Denali XL... Drove my truck to get the parts for the job.
  5. Might just be me but I can't see your list. I have a '07 LBZ so curious what your dealing with....
  6. IDK yet. I may buy a beater car for a few months to see what kind of deals pop up. I've read about a few vibration issues between 65-70mph and somewhere said '14 did something to help combat it. From what I've read sounds like tire issues but again, IDK. Have you had any issues? I also need to see what's different between 2500 and 3500 besides payload capacity. Looks like towing capacity is similar.
  7. Sold mine... yep. Have thought about it before, but didn't wake up this morning planning to be truckless by the end of the day. I got a nice offer. Now looking to possibly get a 2500 or 3500 Duramax. Not getting another 1500. I have the original 17"s with goodyear tires if someone local is interested. They are the 6spoke. Tires have about 10k miles of use on them. They still have tpms in them. $500.
  8. Going with a 20" wheel/tire combo will not affect your towing. Going to a slightly taller tire (per your post an inch or less), will not require a retune. It may lower your mpg every so slightly, but I doubt you would really notice it.
  9. Ahh, like every other day. Drove to work and then home.
  10. Changed the oil a few days ago. Noticed the steering rack was seeping. Made an appointment today for that and the transmission tube fix since the warranty ends at the end of the month. Then cleaned her inside and out.
  11. Wow. That's almost as bad as stacks... lol.
  12. IDK but my wife's 05 Yukon XL has them. Sent using Tapatalk
  13. Pickups trying to be big rigs with 1 or 2 stacks in the bed crack me up... Truly a terrible look.
  14. IDK, I was taught if you r not passing, get out the left lane. Nothing worse than people just sitting in the passing lane. I don't care if your in a truck and think you are special or not. Sent using Tapatalk
  15. Finally connected the wire under the brake master cylinder to stud #1 under the fuse box on driver side and placed a 40amp fuse in slot #68. I bought a new enclosed trailer and with that work done, the inside lights now work off the 7pin connector. I think that was also necessary to charge the trailer's emergency brake break-away battery. Haven't confirmed that yet.
  16. Just hit 12k miles this week. Performed oil change number 3. Fresh Mobil1 5w30 and ACDelco filter. I'm sure someone will say I'm wasting money, but I try to get 'em changed before or by 5k miles. Oh, and check/adjusted tire pressure.
  17. Thanks... I was going into the scan and tune icon and not the efi explorer utility. I had already created the folder. Got the stock eng and trans tunes on the laptop now.
  18. Cool... Thanks. I just pulled the stock tunes (I hope). Read E38 and it saved as E38_001 and Read T43 and it saved as T43_002, or at least thats what I believe it said. Should I plug the autocal back into my computer before data logging (since I pulled the stock tunes 1st) and if so will it prompt me where to put them? If not where do I save them to? Sorry, not trying to hijack this thread.
  19. Received my Autocal from BlackBear. Since it had only been 5 business days and they are in CA and I in MD, I didn't really think it would be there when I got home from work. I was beyond happy to see it. I have done all the initial work on my laptop and made sure the Autocal's firmware is up to date. Now I need to figure out how to retrieve the stock tune and data log. Does it matter which order I do that in? Hoping to data log and send Justin an email by Sunday if not by tomorrow evening.
  20. No idea but please post up when you get it sorted out. Anything in the manual? I'm to lazy to go out and get mine and look for ya.
  21. Cool. Good to know for those of us with the factory brake controller.
  22. Yeah our '06 Denali does it and the '03 Tahoe doesn't. At least I can count on the odometer.
