  1. Same here, fairly intermittent, but annoying. You find a fix?
  2. went from 30" to 32.5". Not much, but its off by about 4 mph (slower) than actual at 70. Lots of highway driving between 70 and 85 posted here in Tx. Just want it accurate to keep from feeding the bears.
  3. Struck out with the Hypertech In-Line (plugs are physically different). Anyone have any luck on a 2022 refresh yet? Went from 17" to 20". Even thought the 20's are a stock chevy wheel/tire combo - dealer won't/can't update as Chevy won't help. Thanks!
  4. Hi there - any chance you have a dash blowup diagram for a 22.5 with no console? Looking to remove the lower center panel and don't want to foul it in the process of blindly figuring it out! Thank you-
  5. Tonneau cover for a 2019 - 2021 Silverado or Sierra. From Rough County. Used it for two months last summer after waiting months for it to ship. Won't fit my new truck. Been in the garage ever since, perfect condition. Here's the manufacturer product link: https://www.roughcountry.com/gm-hard-tri-fold-bed-cover-45308550.html $300 Located in Seattle suburbs (Newcastle) GM HARD TRI-FOLD BED COVER (2019-2021 1500 PU - 5' 8" BED) SKU 45308550A.
  6. Can anyone else weigh-in. Don't want to arrange for a dealer visit only to hear its normal. Thanks!
  7. Group - When aimed at the floor only, I get as much or more heat from the windshield vents and side window vents. Cooks my face long before my feet. My prior trucks would blast the footwell. What do you experience? (2019 TB LT here). Thanks
  8. Guess it depends on what you mean by drone. Its audible when accelerating, quiet when coasting. Amount of sound when accelerating is commensurate with how much gas your giving it. Cruising at highway speed isn't very noticeable unless going uphill. Honestly though, the whole point is to make it louder -
  9. I'm not sure if there was ever a flapper valve, but there's not one there now. I covered the screens a few weeks later, probably a 15% additional increase in sound - worth it. I can notice a bit now when the engine kicks down to 6 or 4 cylinders - sounds like a Harley - but since this only happens when coasting, no big deal (I live in a mountainous area - always going up or down hill). As far as drone - quiet at speed, louder under load. Some back crackle when decelerating between 20 and 10mph (but I like the crackle). Have had trucks with aftermarket mufflers in the past with more drone.
  10. Welded. No check engine light, been running just fine since March 2019, only $50 bucks to boot-
  11. Muffler delete. By far the best bang for your buck.
  12. That happened to me also, my dealer quoted $75/hr for .5 hours. It took 2.5 hours + .5 for the remote for a total of 3. Fortunately for me, the quote was mistakenly given to me "per the job" not hourly. While they tried to collect, I only relented on the .5 for the remote install since that was a legit add-on and they backed down. Turns out they based the install on a 2018 model which is a reportedly a true plug-and-play. If you can get a "per job" quote, take it.
  13. There's 4 screws holding in the amp. Disconnect any cables, pull the screws. On the backside of the amp, there's a rectangular rubber plug. Pull the plug to reveal the switches. Prior posts talk about dip-switch settings. A remote volume control knob really helps too - the part number is linked in previous posts.
  14. I can make mine do that also, but I have to really be pushing it beyond any quality threshold for all speakers (Bose System). It stays on-line for me at the volumes I like, and I'm no pansy when it comes to volume. Do you have the vol control knob? Really helpful to dial in different songs...
  15. Nope, the catalytic converter on these were supposedly designed by Cadillac engineers and keeps these trucks quiet. You can hear it when accelerating but not at cruising. I'd prefer it a bit louder but not willing to replace the cat. My previous trucks had a deep rumble + drone with common aftermarket cat-backs, but this 2019 setup is drone-less. Oh - that vid was from before I covered the screens... its a touch throaty-er now Good luck-
  16. I just happened to cover the mesh screens today only a slight difference. The muffler delete works great though:
  17. A muffler delete worked great for me, flow master turned out not to add much sound.
  18. I don't remember having an issue. I do remember though that I had to hold the washer at the top of the screw in place while turning the screw. Mine were all pretty loose, so it was pretty easy. If I had to do it over, I'd probably use some lock-tite to keep them secure-
  19. I played around with them and ended up with 1,2,3,4,5 in the up position, 6 down. It's pretty loud, but with the control knob you can dial it back. The best crossover point seemed to be 1up, 2down, 3up (4up,5up,6 down), but the volume was too low. One of these days I'll figure out the sweet spot! Talked to Kicker, 1,2,3 = Gain Settings, 4 = 12volt or DC (leave it up for 12v), 5,6 = Slope (5up and 6down = 12db), not sure what 24db would be.
  20. Ordered a couple of pieces of the sticker stuff folks are using for tailgate lettering inserts. Turns out you can buy custom sizes. I ordered a couple of 10"x1" pieces from bdtrims.com in flat red. $5/piece and $3 shipping. Basically unscrew the bolts to remove the top cover, clean the "Silverado" area off with alcohol pad (supplied), reposition cover to mark the edges with pencil, apply the sticker and button it up. Looks sharp
  21. I have the XR, no noise issues here. I've been impressed with how quiet it is even with the rear slider open. With the sunroof cracked, rear slider open, front cap window slider open, and the side windows open, still quiet. I'd be curious if the installer removed the bed rail covers and changed the height somehow. Mine are still on for reference. Also, in a previous post it was mentioned that the cap back glass sticks out. This is remedied by adjusting the latches. Loosen the bolt, swivel the latch a bit and tighten it up - should be good to go.
  22. Looks good! Definitely won't overlap the TrailBoss sticker, comes close but not enough to cover it up-
