  1. Yep, good thing I did sell the truck, though miss it dearly, cause these roads can be horrible. There are a few people here on base that drive big lifted dodges and fords, maybe one GMT800 lifted, and seeing these tight roads, I'm pretty sure they only drive from base to home lmao. That, and these roads kill American cars quickly.
  2. Nice build! Been awhile since I've browsed this forum, missed it a bunch lol. One question though, I'm surprised you are running those rotors. The drilled/slotted rotors have been proved plenty times it's mainly all for show. Though, the slotted bro's out there prefer, well, slotted rotors for track use since it "cleans" the pad surface upon application. I used to run the same set up as you on my old 06 when I had it, after 25k miles of zero towing and not much hard braking, I noticed the drilled portions had small cracks surrounding some of the holes. Sent pics and email to the company, powerslot???, and they wanted to send me some new ones but I declined and bought new solid surface rotors and some EBC heavy duty pads instead. Not trying to upset you about your purchase or anything, but rather inform you to make sure you check your rotors often so to not have any fatal issues down the road since you tow and such.
  3. Yup, had the exact same ones on my old truck and loved them. Worth the extra 200 or so as well. Though I got 15% off of mine and it made a little difference. Think the hardest part was getting the old y pipe and back off cause of the rusted bolts. We ended up cutting the exhaust off
  4. When I got my pacesetters, I talked to Justin about re-tuning the truck and he said I didn't need to, the second set of 02 sensors didn't matter and I just disconnected the rear sensors and everything worked fine with no codes.
  5. Damn, I have my 89 RMX sitting in pieces in my garage waiting for a new cylinder head lol. I started a resto few years back, almost had it completed till I got to the engine and took it apart only to find the cyl wall completely destroyed. A remanned one cost about $300 with shipping so I think about $500 and the beast will live again! Lol
  6. That a Suzuki RMX 250 in the background???
  7. Lol, don't think there is enough road for your truck to hit 160.
  8. And you can add my early model MR2 lol.
  9. I agree to a certain extent, some imports have amazing sound and they are 4 cylinders! That and some might have trouble catching an import around a curve! lol; I miss my truck!!!
  10. Just picked this little guy up today from professional breeder's/hunter's. It's an lab/lurcher mix, the mom ,lab, jumped the fence while the dad, lurcher, was working the fields and this came about lol. They don't cross breed but they do breed all hunting dogs, Cockers, beagles, labs, and lurchers. They also hunt/tend over 3k acres that some Germans own and the Germans buy their dogs and hunt fowls and sometimes deer when available. Very nice people as well! Forgot to add, his name is Leonidas or Leo for short lol.
  11. What did/do you major in?
  12. Signal from radio too strong for factory amp.
  13. Actually, she meant to put that as it makes sense reading her audio issue.
  14. Maybe because it knew you were doin your ol' truck wrong by letting those things slap and scratch up your new ride!
  15. wonder what speed those woofers were to travel in a front end collision??? Disregard, how do I go from this to.watching Mythbusters do a test for this thing is beyond me, but at 45 mph, it won't feel good but that is a fairly slow speed.
  16. You would be surprised to see diesel cars hauling campers and boats around here. And they use the most odd hitches I have ever seen, almost would think they could tow all that weight.
  17. used my damn vee dub! Lol
  18. Not sure what sun is over here...
  19. 94K? Damn thing better run low 10's for 94k!!!!
  20. Yup, when I had my truck, did the same thing and replaced all the light bulbs in the radio, a/c controls, and all the door panel window controls. Basically, if it had those hot ass light bulbs, it got replaced with new one's lol, and they looked damn good too!
  21. Hope the damn thing weighs 3k. Wishful thinking though.
