Hey all, I have a 2019 trail boss with an awful noise anytime the rest suspension is used (all the time because you know...) I took it into the dealer and they "fixed" it with some grease.. but that has negative side effects, also it already wore off. So yeah. I just don't understand how this is even a thing. My 2013 didn't make any noises like this. My 2019 sounds like a 20 year old rust bucket. I went on Twitter, but now I question their ability to do anything. They are just going to tell the dealer to regrease it. Anybody else have this iss
I drive a 2014 gmc sierra crew cab. bought it with a clunk in the rear and have since then replaced the leaf spring hangers (because one snapped in half), and the shackles. i have also greased the leaf springs with suspention grease, along with everything else that could be greased. Tried cleaning them numerious times. have also retourqued everything along with u-bolts. But still no joy. Hey y'all...my name is Quentin and I am new to the site and to owning a 4x4 truck. I currently go to school in Huntington, WV and am 22 years old. I recently purchased a 2008 GMC Sierra All Terrain Crew Cab SLT. It has about 161k miles on it, and I am the second owner. It has BF Goodrich All-Terrian T/A KO LT305/65R18 tires. There is a little wheel rub when i cut the wheel 3/4 of the way left and right. I have trimmed some of the well liner with a knife, but do not want to remove too much in the front as the liner does offer some protection from debris for the fog lights. I have al
Sorry if I misplaced the topic I am new to the site and wasn't sure where to put this question. I have a 6 inch rough country lift kit for silverado Z71 2005 5.3L 1500. I wanna add a couple more inches for just a bit more height and a little better clearence so my 35s dont rub when im out bouncing around mudding. Id like to do it cheep but I need to do it right. I love my truck and need it for years to come. Would cranking the torsion bars up a bit and adding a leaf in the back do the job for me? I dont wanna start having stuff wear and need replaced up front so im really unsure of what to do.
