Here is a simple, cheap project for bed storage I thought I would share. Started with the idea I may need to carry plywood, then how do I carry my gas cans after refill and make sure they don't surf around the bed. Here is what I came up with: Materials list: (2) 2x6 8 feet long (cut down to fit bed width) all weather mat/carpet from Home Depot (think it was precut 4x8 - roughly $25) wood screws (for the extra square) and a bunch of staples (for the carpet wrap of the 2x6) cheap bungees from Northern Tool (about $6) The two main pieces will fit in the horizontal pockets in the bed for carrying plywood and well as forming a partition wall. The extra square (made from the 2x6 scraps) locks into the bottom rail and holds gas cans and small items to keep from roaming. I cut down the carpet for the bed (as things get scuffed from sliding around) and then wrapped the 2x6s with the extra carpet to minimize the wood rattling. If I need it, I bungee items between the bed hooks to pin them against the wood. Hope this helps give people ideas

22 1500 Custom The jump seat top console storage won't open. It was working fine after raising and lowering the seat for the first couple days and now it wont unlatch as if it is in the up position. Anyone had the same issue or know of a fix?

Hello all! Glad I found a place with some knowledgeable folks so I can ask my modification questions. As of a few days ago I am a proud owner of a 2018 Z71 All Star Edition Chevy Silverado 1500 Crew Cab. I absolutely love this truck but what truck would be complete without a couple of modifications!? I'm running into a situation that hopefully someone else has run into and solved. I want to add a storage unit under the rear seats; however, I also want to add the 10 inch kicker sub woofer that comes from Chevy to give my stereo a little fuller sound. The only place that 10 inch speaker seems to be able to go is under the passenger side rear seat. I have yet to see an under seat storage unit that is basically only half the size so the speaker can fit too, Has anyone done this and if so what storage unit did you get that allowed for both the speaker being mounted and storage bin placement? I do the apartment thing so I don't have the resources or space to fabricate my own as I have seen some on youtube do. Any guidance would be great! Thanks,

I have a 2020 2500 HD custom 6.6 crew with a jump seat that has no storage. What consoles/jump seats fit? I would prefer a Tahoe style console (same as previous generation Sierra/Silverado) if it will work as i like the upper and lower storage. I know there are a few different options but i would like to know what exactly they are.

Looking for more ideas on how to spruce up the Custom model front end but I'm having a hard time finding accessories specifically for the Custom model. Any ideas or help appreciated! I've currently added Fabtech 3" Stealth suspension lift, 35's, Fuel Titan 20x9, Phillips Diamond Vision Halogen HID highs and lows(very impressed), purchased but not installed yet the Daytime running lamp LED strip for above the Lowbeam lights.
