22 1500 Custom The jump seat top console storage won't open. It was working fine after raising and lowering the seat for the first couple days and now it wont unlatch as if it is in the up position. Anyone had the same issue or know of a fix? -
Hello all! Glad I found a place with some knowledgeable folks so I can ask my modification questions. As of a few days ago I am a proud owner of a 2018 Z71 All Star Edition Chevy Silverado 1500 Crew Cab. I absolutely love this truck but what truck would be complete without a couple of modifications!? I'm running into a situation that hopefully someone else has run into and solved. I want to add a storage unit under the rear seats; however, I also want to add the 10 inch kicker sub woofer that comes from Chevy to give my stereo a little fuller sound. The only place that 10 inch speaker seems to be able to go is under the passenger side rear seat. I have yet to see an under seat storage unit that is basically only half the size so the speaker can fit too, Has anyone done this and if so what storage unit did you get that allowed for both the speaker being mounted and storage bin placement? I do the apartment thing so I don't have the resources or space to fabricate my own as I have seen some on youtube do. Any guidance would be great! Thanks, -
I have a 2020 2500 HD custom 6.6 crew with a jump seat that has no storage. What consoles/jump seats fit? I would prefer a Tahoe style console (same as previous generation Sierra/Silverado) if it will work as i like the upper and lower storage. I know there are a few different options but i would like to know what exactly they are.

Looking for more ideas on how to spruce up the Custom model front end but I'm having a hard time finding accessories specifically for the Custom model. Any ideas or help appreciated! I've currently added Fabtech 3" Stealth suspension lift, 35's, Fuel Titan 20x9, Phillips Diamond Vision Halogen HID highs and lows(very impressed), purchased but not installed yet the Daytime running lamp LED strip for above the Lowbeam lights.

Brand new DECKED Storage system in the box. Purchased and never used, and now the new truck has a different bed length.... I've personally used these in friends trucks and they work awesome. Just unfortunately won't work for my application. Hey guys, recently purchased an AT4 and wanted to get some information and tips on some storage ideas/venders. I tried searching the forum for the topic but didn’t come up with anytbing. Who has a center console lock box? What is the brand and your opinion on the box? Who has aftermarket or GM under seat storage? Is it worth the upgrade from the stock carpeted bin? Finally, has anyone installed a swing out tool box from the bed?

Okay - Quantity 100 5-gallon buckets with lids. Each is about 18" tall and 12" across the lid. The stack nicely. Contents inside bucket weigh about 20#. Trailer is a 5'x10' flatbed utility type trailer. How would you secure 100 buckets to the trailer? Stacking two high by 5 across and 10 long ways is 100 buckets. I'm thinking I use some type of wood strapping to make an angle I can put on the outside 'corner' of the pile and then ratchet straps across that strapping. Any better ideas? Should be secure enough for a 1000 mile trek. I have never really seen cargo netting that big. I cant palletize them for various reasons. Thoughts?

Looking for some tribal knowledge on the options for a 2017 double cab under seat storage system. Found a couple of threads talking about earlier models that got me looking at the OEM and aftermarket solutions but fit on the 2017 seems to be different. Found this thread: http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/181026-under-seat-storage/?hl=under%20seat%20storage That got me looking at Du-HA and Husky but when you look up the OEM part number 23183670 it looks like the center piece is very slim compared to the pictures of the 2016 options. Du-Ha on one page shows they don't have an option for the 2017 yet http://www.du-ha.com/ but if you click on the 2014-2016 option it says it fits the 2017 as well. Really like the Du-Ha option better but looking at the OEM I don't think it will fit. Anyone here have the Du-Ha or another model in you 2017 that can provide some clarification on fit? -
I just purchased a 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 Double cab and found that the back seat folds up but not down. I have had GMC and Chev trucks for 35 years and know that I could store tie downs, tarps, trailer ball and other truck supplies behind the rear seat, but on this new truck the seat doesn't fold down. I don't want to store on the floor under the rear seat because I put some heavy tools in this area. How has any body fixed this problem??? I am trying to avoid putting tool storage in the box since I have bulk materials like soil, mulch, sand poured into the box.

I left a secondary car sitting for two years. Today, I returned the battery to the truck and started it. After two cold Michigan winters, it started with little hesitation. I put the truck in drive and started moving down the drive way. Everything seemed normal until seconds later and about 15 feet, the truck jerked to a stop. I shifted into reverse and shifting felt normal. Again it locked up. I tried to go forward but this only resulted in squeling the rear wheels. The rear wheels where moving (for sure on one side). After a while, I decided to play with the emergency brake. If I compressed the pedal and then released it, the truck would move forward like normal but only a few feet this time. I tried the same in reverse but it didn't move anywhere. I was thinking this is the result of seized calipers, gears/teeth loose in the differential, or the worst of my worries transmission issues. Anyone have this happen to them or know someone it has happened to? I'll be taking off the wheels soon to see if I can spot the problem. Let me know if you think of what the problem could be or ideas on what to check. Thanks!

I'm looking at buying a new toolbox. I'm looking at A UWS Low Profile 72". Fitment guides say the 69" is compatible. Measuring the dimensions I don't see why the 72" wouldn't fit. Anyone tried the 72" in their bed?

What's up Gents Looking for some feedback and insight. I own a 2015 Sierra Denali. It is pretty loaded, but the one thing I never got was headrest DVD players. I have a 7 year old and we know how that goes, she's really into traveling and keeping herself busy with videos..at a min of course. Does anyone know if doing a non-factory install is a good idea. Secondly, what would be the preferred method of storage when doing large amounts of shopping at the grocery store. Is there companies that sell storage boxes or netting fixtures that could be used for this ? Im new to this so Im open to suggestions. Thanks.

Hey I am looking to pick up an under seat storage box for my 14 CC.. I have found the husky gearbox and the GM OEM one. Any opinions on either one? Is one better or more durable than the other?
