I have a 14 allterrain that had the issue. They replaced the tcase actuator with an updated part ( not sure of number). Haven't had anymore problems.

I have a 13" MacBook pro from 2010, it charges perfectly in the truck. First connect I had to reset it to get the green light on the truck to come on, every time after it works perfect. One thing I notice is how hard that receptacle grabs the plug. Need to make sure you don't rip it out of the dash when you disconnect
