  1. One thing I thought of, is will the GPS be able to get signal there?
  2. I thought about putting my Insight up there. But I found the dash pod and went with that. It's much easier to see out of the corner of my eye on the dash (especially since it's set to show 8 parameters). With a gps screen being bigger it would probably go better up top... Not worried about being able to hit my switches, I'll put some of these on
  3. My gpa likes the seats in his 2007 classic... he prefers to climb up into the 3/4 ton than ride in his Caddy. I like the layout of my interior a lot. I think my next interior project will be fixing my headliner (coming off by the door), maybe installing some deadening and putting switches in the overhead console.
  4. Congrats Grape! 4x4 offroad, lol.
  5. Generally "warmer" lights are more desirable in snowy conditions because they have less glare. Or so they say.
  6. I get an oil analysis done every time I change the oil... 10k is the interval they recommended for me. And my pickup sees more dirt than most on here. However I do use the extended performance filter.
  7. Boooo down with GM promoting safety. I wish half the morons driving in this snow had automatic lights.
  8. With EP you should be good to 15k. I run regular M1 to 10k in my 2006.
  9. I filled up with ethanol free 91 octane, for $2.80 a gallon!
  10. It seems crazy to me to put those on a 4x4
  11. http://www.ranchhand.com/
  12. I guess your luck is way worse than mine. Personally I'm thinking the rear end will go out first.
  13. Looks like your rebuilder sux.
  14. Supercharger!!! Time for snow cruising with the new rubber
  15. Apparently the woodland creatures decided they didn't like my pickup. Scratches clear up on the bedcover. Should buff out.
  16. That looks like a DRL plug
  17. I have noticed I have to work a lot harder with my dog not being home as much, he gets sloppy. I'm picky, I like him to wait on fetches until I tell him (obviously he knows to go when hunting upland), and I like it dropped in my hand. It makes me cringe watching other people play with him, lol.
  18. My lab does fine with covering land.... the issue is no pointing instinct. My dog will hold close and will work back and forth well, but it's nothing like the advantage you get having a dog point. The advantage to labs IMO is they are tough as nails and live to fetch. My dog trusts his nose and is very good at hunting winged birds. For me the cost of a pointer isn't worth it for as much as I get to hunt vs a $100 lab, as the lab can be used for ducks, is very good with people and doesn't require as much training.
  19. Definitely do AirAid tube. I have the tube and the AFE ProDry, nice to not have to worry about buying a filter again. Can vacuum and/or wash, let it dry and throw it back in. If I were you trashing the spoiler would be #1. Or sell it to someone who broke theirs on a curb and actually wants a new one lol. I would do a vinyl wrap on the whole front end, over the paint for protection and over the chrome to see how it looks... I wouldn't level though, IMO fuel mileage is all or nothing, may as well lift it 7" haha. I like the mostly stock look so what you have planned sounds good to me... Once your AFM is gone I'd get a new muffler Still need to do the U-bolt flip on mine, saving it for "the great rear end rehash".
  20. Take the splitter off the front and it will actually clear the curb, hahaha
  21. Yep it shifts better warm. My tranny temps have increased from 90 above to 100 above. We'll see how long it hangs in there.
  22. Lol it will be fine. My moms Subaru has more clearance than a K2 with it on.
  23. Just take off the air dam, it looks about the same as a level that way.
  24. Nice pickup man! But I bet my 2006 will do a longer 11.
