  1. If anything they're more consistent though, vs the EBCs which don't have as much of a linear response as more pressure is applied to the brakes. I literally pulled out of the shed and headed to Colorado, talk about confidence in my work, lol.
  2. Ok so last weekend I finally ditched the EBC brake pads. Old on the left, new ACD pro on the right. Also a good look at how the Coopers are holding up, they have about 20,000 miles on them, and other than a few chips they look good. Pic of the Centric rotors, they look awesome. Broke them in with a 1200 mile trip to the mountains, and other than road salt the front wheels stayed clean. The ACDelcos don't have as much bite as the EBC's did, but they'll lock up too, and that's really all you need. Also, the ceramics don't POUR brake dust all over. The pickup did awesome in the snow, ice, and snowpack.
  3. Got my brake pads and rotors switched, cleaning the interior in the morning and then off to the mountains!
  4. Mine are "premium", they cost almost double what I'm replacing them with IIRC. I've had the replacements for a while, just no time to install em. I hate the dust the EBC's make. Dirtiest brakes ever.
  5. I got under my pickup and washed out all the road salt. I'll be doing brakes and tire rotation Saturday and leaving for the mountains Sunday evening. I'm excited to be rid of these nasty brakes and excited to snowboard!
  6. Did you jack up the front end? I changed out a taillight bulb, it had started to melt the lens. Hoping the bulb was the issue but if it keeps melting I guess I'll have to get a new housing.
  7. I hauled a friend's old blazer out to the ORV area. It was heavy, and very sketchy to haul in the snow. Good time watching the "hulk" buggy and some others climb some rough hills in the snow.
  8. Oh trust me a big HD will mud just fine! Just takes getting used to.
  9. I can't decide whether to buy remote start or not
  10. How long of a drive? I drove to Dallas on Monday and back Wednesday.
  11. WRX is better, lol. I trust the Suby drivetrain a lot. I do not trust the Ford. The problem is adult owned nice one's are $$$.
  12. I like having the rubber liners. Good for taking out and washing.
  13. It looks more black than mine right now, haha
  14. The 10-15 minutes right after I clean it always make me remember why I got a black pickup.
  15. The lights turned out good IMO. And Sarah when IS a lift practical? lmao
  16. Yeah I think new springs are a lot better deal.
  17. Seems like all lift kits do blocks, unless you get into the serious ones
  18. Could the spacer be making them bind or something? I agree though, you definitely need coilovers.
  19. CA, what struts are you currently running?
  20. I want my next to be a RCSB 4x4. Want to copy a hummer build from another site. Custom subframe & arms, D60 center running GM HD CV shafts. GM HD rack cranking stock knuckles & unit bearings. Lockers both ends hooking up 35's. Who knows if it will ever happen. Any dumbass can do a SAS, doing an IFS setup that uses easy to find parts takes more thought. The inspiration has 10 inches of front travel, not bad.
  21. Yeah I'll bet. Have drove cranked up pickups and would never do it to mine, rides smooth already and has as much clearance as it's going to get. I do have a couple raw spots on the "sliders" of my bumper but they'll buff.
