  1. I don't really feel like dropping $200 on the Borgeson shaft right now so it may be a while (summer). I'll have to take a closer look at how to get to the upper portion. I may do a new brake pedal "shim" too while I'm at it.
  2. My intermediate steering shaft got clunky all of a sudden today. I guess I'll replace the bearing and shaft.
  3. What I meant is do you have any rubbing flexing?
  4. Is your travel limited at all by the 35's? They look good to me.
  5. ~$100 and weld on a Magnaflow.
  6. How many bodies can you fit now Jim?
  7. Tune is the best thing I've done. But it's easier if you get everything on first so you don't have to retune.
  8. See if Blackbear will give you a deal on headers+autocal
  9. Supposed to snow again here tonight, if I don't see any plows out putting down cancer juice I'll go play.
  10. I like the power steps from a convenience standpoint, but too much $ for me though and I don't like moving parts. I'm designing a set, 2" tubes powdercoated about 8" wide, with a bedlined piece of steel between them. They won't stick out any wider than my mudflaps, I want them for rocker protection more than anything.
  11. I'll sell you my battery. $50
  12. I took off the airdam and bumper and replaced them with a hunkasteel. No change in mileage. And it's an aerodynamic nightmare.
  13. It is not a "real" Atkinson engine, basically just has an extra long intake stroke that effectively lowers the compression I believe. Not a motor I'd want to work on.
  14. You mean a car fifteen years newer with much more power is faster? Maybe for now. I understand it's a matter of preference. I like how planted the 944 is, and really don't have anywhere to take it that fast, especially since it's so slow. ;) I would like to have a souped up 4x4, because I could use 100% of its power legally. But my garage would be 10+ vehicles if I had the means.
  15. My point wasn't ls power, what I was trying to convey is that I don't really understand people dissing non original cars, when so much can be gained by a newer/modified powerplant, whether it be FI or carb. Like your car, lol. What's your definition of fast? This is basically where I want mine as far as mods.
  16. Eh honestly I can't stand the #'s matching extremists. They can look down on the guy with the "ls" swap in his rust bucket Camaro all they want, but fact is his is faster for 10% of the money. They can look down on '80's Germans too, but once again, they're also faster. That said, I don't care for many of Foose's jobs. Have seen plenty of cars done in farm shops and garages that I'd rather have.
  17. I think it looks gooder without the 4x4
  18. I like aluminum too, especially machined.
  19. Around town I get 13.... Highway 17+. The beauty of a stock height pickup. I wouldn't lift this pickup, I like how it's on rails in the snow. I would consider an LQ4 or 9. Whatever you can get your hands on. Fuel mileage will actually go up for you.
  20. It sat. Did math and ice skated lol
  21. http://4wheelcampers.com/
  22. What headlights? Looks awesome
