  1. So I saw a pic of the 2019 Silverado 5.3 and noticed there's a fill tube... does anyone know a part number for one to put on my 17 Silverado and 16 Suburban. I do my own oil changes and holding the funnel at an angle is a pain, I can't believe there's not a tube to get it level. 2019 Picture
  2. Went from -40 last week to 37 over the weekend, had to get out to the lake during the heat wave!
  3. I lived in Seattle 2010-2011 and took my 2003 Z71 up in the Snowqualmie area a bunch and had a bunch of fun on trials. Drive out I90 up past Issiquah... Tiger Mountain, Rattlesnake Mountain, and the area opposite I90 Keechelus Lake had a bunch of fun forestry roads that didn't beat my truck up too bad.
  4. Polaris 570 lets me keep the Silverado clean when I can.
  5. Likely the last time I'll see it clean until April... the snow is finally here.
  6. Put the 20s away for the winter, back to the winter set up.
  7. Made mine put in some work today... 576 miles total. 12.8 mpg average (deadheaded 260 miles). Hope I can give it a bath soon!
  8. Clean truck and sunny day, that combo doesn't happen often up here.
  9. Had a chance to wash the truck finally... 11:30pm and the sun is just popping below the horizon up here.
  10. RD4 Wheels with 275/60R20 D load range BF Goodrich All Terrain KO2. No lift or level, no rubbing at all.
  11. Upgraded to 20s and 275/60R20 BFG All Terrains with completely stock suspension. Very happy with the outcome, no rubbing or clearance issues and it looks much better. The extra weight is definitely noticeable but the trade off for traction out in the middle of nowhere and tough sidewalls I am happy. Won't be able to wash the truck for a few more weeks, sorry for the dirty pics. No rubbing issues: I removed the lower valance while I was under the truck, another easy improvement. I think it's time to upgrade to the metal skid plates. Thanks @CadillacLuke24 for the great deal on the wheels!
  12. Ran from where I live in Healy, AK to Anchorage for some supplies... stopped to watch the sunset over Denali. Deaheaded down and came back loaded, I was very pleased with the ride and performance.
  13. Another happy customer, DL8 -> DL3 with power fold switch. Everything plugged right in and works perfect... I'll get my old harness in the mail ASAP! Happy to have the puddle lights, folding ability, and LEDs, well worth the upgrade. PnP harness + $220 for mirrors and $42 for the switch on eBay. Didn't even break the tabs, I was surprised and impressed
  14. Yep, stopped at Subway in Sunshine for lunch on the way home from Anchorage... Saved about $10k on a new truck over Fairbanks, definitely worth a day's drive.
  15. Here is my 2017 LT Crew Cab As purchased, loaded up for the 300 mile drive home. Todays updates- tint and debadging complete. Sorry for the pics, it's snowy and dark up here all the time. Short term to do list is down to floor liners, black front bowtie, DL3 upgrade, and possibly a tonneau cover. Long term (post warranty) will be CAI, cat back, and tune.
  16. More details/pic please? I looked everywhere when I did the light bar on my burb, ended up going through the large bundle by the column. I'll be adding lights to my truck before too long.
