They're smoked lenses. Tow mirrors are probably my favorite upgrade so far. The stock mirrors were a joke...Bilstein 5100 rear shocks went in too to replace the Rancho junk.
That's great! ThankyouIn one of your videos you mention that it's easier to access the parking light circuit under the hood at the fuse block. You point out the pin, but it's unclear which wire/color it is. I've got some additional clearance lights to wire up so I was thinking that I'd just bring the mirror marker wires upfront too.
Thanks again!
Any update on the color scheme for the marker lights? Got my mirrors on and partially wired, all working as they should so far...I added some clearance lights to the plastic under the F bumper so I'll tie those into the fuse box when I do the markers on the mirror.
My truck is a '14. The mirrors I bought are non OEM. They have a separate small harness for markers, turn and cargo lights so I'll have to run them through the door to their spots under the dash/hood.
The videos are incredibly helpful in determining where to get power for different functions. Can anybody ID the wire colors (turn signals, cargo and marker)for those of us not using the pin method.
Again, thanks for your R&D!
Where is everyone running wires through the firewall on their '14s? Access is very limited under the dash. The big harness on the driver's side would be nice but I couldn't find where my snake poked through. I'd like to avoid drilling a new hole.
Picked up a pair of SYPPO tow mirrors. They're manual fold and extend with cargo, marker and turn signals. They seem to be very good quality, look identical to my BIL's mirrors on his 2500. I'm hoping I get a chance to bolt them up this week...
