  1. No Way Hosa, I'm going to be the voice of reason here, it's just a Corvette, or your wife, You got a big emotional connection, & investment, and once it's gone, It's gone ???????????
  2. Dealers are real cut throats when it comes to trade in. As Soon as they start talking about the price of the 'New' vehicle, they always call out the flaws and actually get down to the " Sales Agreement" , Ask to see the of the "New Vehicle " They never will let you see it. And for what it's worth, and say he's going have the sales manger go over it with you, Get up and just leave. The more they talk, the more confusing it gets. Your always better off selling it on your own.
  3. Well thank you, My fear is after I pass on, someone who is going take a hatchet to it. That and where can I take without the risk of someone who just wants to damage something will take a key to the paint ?

Thank you very much. it was a lot of work &$$$ but it has come to a really great condition and the medium burl wood dash was just a wild thought I had. We were replacing the carpet ( very hard to find the exact carpeting that came with the truck) but I found a guys company out in California and he knew right away what color & type of carpet that comes with the truck. I think the best part about it, and not considering the cost, is when you get in and slam the door and it's "tight" sound. I didn't over looked a single thing, and it has paid me back. Thank you for your nice comment.

Well as I started, I new the small V8 was going to need some help, So I had an oil leak, that was a head gasket, we did both sides, Then I rebuilt the TBI fuel injection with brand new(Matched flow fuel injectors), and an Airaid throttle body space, Yeah it give you a little bit of Torque down around 1200 RPM' follow up with a set of 'shorty' headers and a 3" Gibson exhaust system.

This is what it looked like when I bought her. But I was able to drive the 130 miles home.
