  1. In the past year Chevy. dealership has bought back two 2014 Silverado's from me due to the vibration issue. The last one they bought back in November I received a 2015 Silverado..... Same issue... I plan on driving for a while then trading. Don't know for what at this point. Tired of dealing with this issue. Moving on...
  2. My dealer is doing all they can to resolve this issue. Got a better idea?
  3. I had a buyback in july. New truck did not vibrate during the test drive. As soon as I took on a trip the vibration started. My dealer replaced the complete rear end. Truck still vibrated and makes noise. My dealer is going to buy back again and exchange for a 2015.I ordered it yesterday.
  4. My rear end was replaced and I got the truck back today. They replaced the complete rear end from disks brake to disk brake. Test drove for approximately 25 miles vibration still there between 60-65 and greater. My dealers service manager who has been totally great to deal with, really didn't know what to do. He was working a GM engineer. I will be waiting for another suggestion. So far as I have noted in my previous post. The following has not worked; RF balancing Michelin tires new drive shaft Then they bought the truck back and I ordered another one exactly like it. LTZ, double cab, long bed, 342 rear end, v8 Complete rear end I have drove two or three loaner trucks during the past 9 months all of which have this issue.
  5. I wonder what "The entire drive line" means?
  6. I'm also very interested in an update mine is going on Monday for a complete rear end. Brakes to brakes.
  7. Hello again, I wanted to send this forum an update to my vibration issue on my 2014 Silverado. I originally posted sometime around the first of this year. I tried to find it but there are too many to look through now. Anyway, on my last post I stated that the dealership had replaced the drive shaft and that it cured the problem. That was not the case. The truck still vibrated from speeds 60 - 75mph +. My dealership actually agreed to buy the vehicle back. I had to ordered another truck exactly like my original, 2014 LTZ long bed, 342 rear end, 4wd. It took the truck 10 weeks to come in. I had the Michelins on my original truck installed on the new truck rims and took the truck for a test ride. It seemed to ride great. So I proceed with the deal. I immediately went on a trip and the truck still vibrates exactly like the other one. So at this point I can tell you guys what doesn't work: -Road force balancing to with 12 - 14 pounds max. -Michelin tires -new drive shaft -New Truck
  8. Dealer installed the drive shaft yesterday and it has solved my vibration issue...
  9. Believe it or not I have a great dealer whose service manager / department, owner are second to none. They are working with me to get this issue resolved and at the same time we are building a case. I'm not going anywhere else and drop additional coin at this point. I'm not posting here to argue with anyone I have better things to do. By the way, the service manager informed me that the GM Technical guy has been hearing of these issues and a bulletin should be coming out shortly. The Tech. said they have been replacing the drive shafts for the cure. The service manager has ordered one including the yoke and this will be overnighted to him. Hope this works..
  10. I'm not taking my brand new vehicle under warranty to a local tire shop... As per all these posts the only thing that's clear to me at this point is that it's not the tires...
  11. I have he exact same problem as identified in Silver Spaceship's original post. 2014 Silverado, purchased in November, (Special Ordered it), 5.3, Ltz Crew Cab with 308 rear end. Noticed the vibration issue when I picked it up. Starts around 45 mph. Took it to the dealer and they balanced the tires. Did not fix the issue. Took it back and they did a road force balance, did not fix the problem. They said I had a bad tire, Goodyear. I worked out a deal to have them install Michelin LTX M/S 275/55/ R20, I paid the difference, between the Goodyears approx. $500.00. Did not fix the problem, returned to the dealer and they did a road force balance. Did not fix the issue. I'm taking it back again this morning.....
