  1. Its this simple, as stated above- don't waste your money. Blackbear always wins hands down.
  2. First see if black bear will have a meet on their website near you. If not proceed to the autocal
  3. Its piston slap. Just ignore it almost all of us get it. Or its a broken exhaust manifold bolt.
  4. Im embarrassed also. 2002 sub 5.3 z71. Replaced- rotors/pads, power steering pump at 109K, rear lift gate hydraulics 111K, rear end 113K , bad axle bearings 121K, exhaust manifold bolts 120K. All A/C light bulbs at 112K. Now i need new lights in my factory radio- all burnt out and fan rev's high, fix the sliding seat, replace the front speaker- i did already brand new ac delco and its still really quiet, my belt tensioner is going, broken seat belts, and the rear back trim panels are falling apart, bad rear arm rest, no emergency brake. I've had this since 109K and paid 9K for it. Could not be more disappointed. The only other gm i would buy is a 96 roadmaster or 05 yukon 2500 quadrasteer. And the famous z71 bumpers rusting through, and top luggage rack fading. Too many problems for low miles. I've babied this things so much. Any similar stories? And i need a new front left ball joint
  5. My dads 2011 did this and it was a bad TB
  6. Ac delco because i had 123K on my factory plugs
  7. I've seen 2500 suburbans with the auto 4x4. But 2500 silverados in 03 didnt come with auto 4x4
  8. It can have the 4l60e or you can install a 4l80e, if thats what you are asking. The z71 should have auto 4x4 as a standard option
  9. My RPO shows g80 and YD3. obviously the g80 is a locker but why do i have the YD3 code? YD3 comes up as "Differential, driver-selectable locking rear"
  10. Has anyone ever heard of these breaking? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Im back and have a picture. A magnet sticks to it. Is it aluminum or steel? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I was thinking about installing a line loc and setting the crusie at 120 mph. Not really i'd just kind of like to open it up sometimes. The tires are rated to 106 but it just hauls then dies at 100. So much potential in top speed
  13. Even if i get all my wheels alligned, and my driveshaft balanced you still think i would lose the shaft at 120? I know the higher the tire rpm the higher the tire psi is so if i made my tire psi a little lower then rating i thought that would help with the tires to they dont explode and i can go a little faster safer
  14. Thanks for your help. From what you are describing i have the aluminum driveshaft! I was planning to go over 100 with just a tuner and intake so i am worried about loosing the driveshaft at 120
  15. Is the 2 piece aluminum stronger than the 1 piece aluminum?
  16. Okay so the aluminum will be 4-5 inches around. And the steel will be smaller. Will the aluminum and steel be the same color?
  17. By looking how can i tell if i have a 1 or 2 peice driveshaft? Also how can i tell if its steel or aluminum? Its an 02 4x4 suburban
