  2. Okay thank you. So what is the difference between the two gear boxes. Anti-kickback, and regular? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Howdy y’all. I have an 02 suburban z71 with the early z71 “anti-kickback steering box”. I’m resealing the until (leaking) and the dealer sold me PN 26090554 seal kit. He said there was only one option and it was for the “680 series gears”. Firstly, is this the correct PN for my Z71 specific gear box, and secondly what is the “680 series gears”? I know we have some parts people in here so please give me a hand before I tear this apart. Thanks a lot! In the picture the part is KO3 on the left that I was sold. My vin is 2G219780. Being I have a different gear box I can’t imagine the seals, gaskets, and snap rings are the same. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Yes, get a vacuum bleeder from Harbor Freight- they're inexpensive and worth having. If possible borrow a scanner from someone that can cycle the ABS module to assist in the bleeding procedure.
  5. Back to my first post. If that has an IAC i would check that or an unmetered air leak
  6. Does that dbw have an IAC? I'd do a smoke test on a cold engine.
  7. You already have one. Fuel pump fuse
  8. They did make a 5.3 a couple years ago. That in red with the z71 and chrome wheels, 4 door... What a beautiful ride
  9. X2 except the 70's and 80's.
  10. They can scan the code. Try to unplug the battery for 30 min or hold the 2 battery cables together for 30 seconds. Re check all the clamps and unplug the cable and plug it back in
  11. Gotta fix 1 problem at a time. Rock auto is your friend
  12. I was quoted 750 to install a 2800 stall
  13. After the boss left one day i charged my A/C. [emoji23][emoji23]
  14. Im so tired of problems with this suburban
  15. Yeah once its unlocked and i press the button the glass wont disengage
  16. As long as i've had this suburban the rear lift glass wont open but the cargo door will. Your supposed to unlock the vehicle and press the button and it will open. When i press my button it goes it, gets stuck and will not release the glass or button and the button gets stuck. The actuator works i believe because i can hear it lock and unlock also when i lock/unlock i can feel it move the button. Using a key will not make a difference. It opened yesterday for the first time ever but once i shut it, it would not reopen
  17. Beautiful truck i like the bed cover too
  18. No i did yesterday on ice but with all the clunking, 4x4 issues, vibrations i think gm has some problems to resolve
